How much is PRO?

You can enable PRO status for your account through a one-time purchase, and its price can vary depending on the device you’re using to purchase it, and your country.

Some of the current prices of PRO are:

The stores (access channels) will compute the pricing in other currencies automatically, and they might also adjust EUR pricing in some countries.

Why are PRO prices different between devices and countries?

Google and Apple do their own currency conversions, and apply state-specific taxes. We, as app developers, only set a “base price” for the in-app purchase, and they both handle everything else, including dynamic tax calculation, etc.

Additionally, Apple has an even higher payment cut they get for themselves, so we needed to set a higher base price to get a decent net (post-Apple cut) income from in-app purchases on iOS.

In counterpart, Stripe has the lowest payment cut and tax rates from all payment providers, while also letting us do our own currency conversions. That’s why we can offer PRO at its lowest price through Stripe.

This way, you’ll be able to get PRO using Stripe (while also, optionally, using Apple Pay or Google Pay to purchase it, without having to enter your credit card information).

Also, as cited in the About PRO section, your Spotify account will have a PRO status independently of the device you use to access Skiley (whether you’re using the app or website).
